Inks, what can I say, it is a passion for me. I was trained at the Joe Kubert School of Cartooning and Graphic Arts and inking brings out the craftsman in me. Inking to me is the one of the best things I can do with a brush. Yes, a brush. This to me is how you get the best lines, the fine details, the different textures of the world, and of course light and shadow. My instructor Mike Chin told me if you can give depth to something that is 2D and make people stare and lose themselves, then you have mastered the ink. I am still on that quest.
